We are thrilled to embark on this novel project, a first for us, as we collaborate with a social enterprise primarily comprised of individuals with physical disabilities. Following our initial discussions with Phongthep (Tong), the group's leader, we were deeply impressed by their unwavering determination and enthusiasm for this new venture. They acknowledged a need for assistance in product design, specifically in redesigning their packaging, which currently lacked cohesion and hindered brand recognition.
Our primary focus was the packaging for their chewable mulberry candy, a delightful treat offering both sweet and sour flavors. The existing packaging, a simple plastic bag, didn't fully showcase the product's appeal or effectively communicate the care and food safety standards they uphold. This, in turn, affected their ability to achieve their desired pricing.
We proposed a redesign centered on more secure and aesthetically appealing packaging to build consumer trust and enhance product visibility. The results of our collaborative efforts have been met with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, we extended our design expertise to their other product lines, including wine and mulberry juice, ensuring a unified brand aesthetic that amplifies overall product awareness. This cohesive approach will be particularly impactful when creating gift baskets for special occasions, such as New Year's, allowing for a consistent and appealing presentation
