Pha launched the brand Thanthari after gaining extensive experience in a textile factory in Bangkok. Leveraging her expertise, she has created a diverse array of fashion products, including dresses, shirts, and bags. One of the standout features that Thanthari is renowned for is its commitment to natural color dyeing. Pha and her team collect various natural materials from the surroundings of Salaeng Thon village to dye their threads, infusing their products with unique, eco-friendly colors.

Addressing Unused Cotton Threads

Despite being eco-friendly, Thanthari still faces the challenge of unused cotton threads. Occasionally, these threads accumulate to significant levels, leading to the quickest but harmful disposal method: burning. This not only contributes to environmental pollution but also poses health risks. Recognizing this issue, Pha sought assistance from 6th Regional IPC to explore viable solutions. This is where we connected with her and her brand, Thanthari, to discuss strategies aimed at reducing pollution emissions while also creating value from the unused cotton threads.

Beyond its eco-friendly nature, the cotton thread embellishments on this bag create a captivating and sophisticated design. Crafted with elegance and distinction, it commands attention with its unique aesthetic. Perfect for both traditional and contemporary events, this bag seamlessly blends timeless style with modern sensibilities. The intricate cotton thread netting, a testament to skilled craftsmanship, draws the eye and invites closer inspection. Its origins and the story behind its creation are sure to spark conversation and admiration.
