We are delighted with the outcome of this project. Our collaboration with the team at NEP Realty and Industry PLC was exceptional; their openness to new ideas and enthusiastic participation were invaluable. The project's genesis stemmed from our initial inquiry into their existing waste streams and potential avenues for enhancing product sales. They identified a surplus of plastic beads, a byproduct of melted industrial big bags, which had been stored without generating revenue. Recognizing an opportunity, they expressed a desire to transform this waste into a profitable venture. They were already producing fashion items like bags from recycled materials. However, we proposed a fresh approach, aiming to create something innovative that would complement their existing product line and boost revenue.

Our solution was the development of decorative clasps for their bags, crafted from the recycled plastic beads. These clasps would be molded with their logo, offering a dual purpose: enhancing the aesthetic appeal of their bags and providing an additional revenue stream. The clasps could also be repurposed as work tags or utilized within their factories.

What truly impressed us was the strength of the final product. Initially, we were concerned that the clasps, having undergone a double melting process, might be compromised. However, upon testing, they proved remarkably durable. Beyond its environmental benefits and waste reduction, this innovation provides a versatile product that can be sold to enhance the brand's bags and for various lifestyle applications.
