Halff Shoes, a prominent leather shoe vendor in Udon Thani, faced significant challenges following the Covid-19 pandemic. Global inflation altered consumer behavior, prompting increased financial prudence. Tom, the owner of Halff Shoes, recognized the need for a strategic business pivot. Simultaneously, heightened environmental awareness brought increased scrutiny to the disposal of leather scraps.

In response to these dual pressures: sales and environmental impact, Tom shared his concerns, sparking our team to brainstorm innovative solutions. The resulting concept involves transforming leather scraps into interlocking, miniature squares, designed to assemble into larger, cohesive sheets. This approach allows for the creation of durable covers for collapsible chairs, offering enhanced flexibility compared to traditional leather sheets.

The interlocking leather puzzle sheets also offer design versatility, enabling the creation of diverse patterns, including text or artistic designs. This method leverages repurposed materials, resulting in reduced production costs. Capitalizing on the rising popularity of camping, these innovative, scrap-leather collapsible stools offer both aesthetic appeal and portability.
