Khun Pha launched her brand, Thanthari, after spending years honing her craft in Bangkok’s textile industry. That extensive experience turned her into a true fabric expert, leading her to create a wide range of fashion pieces—from stylish tops and skirts to elegant bags. The hallmark of Thantharee is Khun Pha’s commitment to natural dyes. She sources all her colors from her hometown in the Salaeng Thon community of Buri Ram, resulting in soft, earthy tones that are both beautiful and eco-friendly.

Despite her success, Khun Pha saw an opportunity for improvement. She was left with scrap yarn from the dyeing and production process. Traditionally, this leftover material would be burned, which released harmful smoke into the community and went against her mission of environmental conservation. Determined to find a better way, she reached out to the 6th Regional Industrial Promotion Center. That’s where our team stepped in to help her turn waste into wealth, eliminating toxic smoke while creating value from unused materials.

More than just an accessory, this bag is a conversation starter. It gives Khun Pha and her customers a chance to share the story of environmental preservation and the incredible artistry of the craftspeople in Prakhon Chai.
