DIPROM Upcycling Project Opens for Northern Coffee & Cocoa SMEs

The 1st Regional Industrial Promotion Center is accepting applications to turn agricultural waste into high-value commercial products

The Industrial Promotion Center Region 1, Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM), has officially announced the opening of applications for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the activity "Value Creation for Products using a Circular Economy Model (Circular Design Product – Upcycle Product)". This initiative operates under the Project to Upgrade SME Businesses by Applying the BCG Economy Model for the Fiscal Year 2026, aiming to focus on eco-friendly product development and sustainable value creation.

The objective of this activity is to encourage entrepreneurs in the northern region to integrate the concepts of a Circular Economy and Upcycling into their business operations.

The program highlights 5 core focus areas:

Target Group & Target Industries:
This project is exclusively accepting applications from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Slots are strictly limited to only 3 enterprises. The targeted industry sectors are agro-processing industries or related fields, specifically focusing on key economic crops: Coffee and Cocoa.

Target Operational Areas:
Eligible applicants must be businesses located within the 8 upper northern provinces under the center's jurisdiction: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Nan, and Phayao.

Privileges & Application Details:
Participation in this activity is entirely FREE of charge. Applications are open from now onwards. Interested entrepreneurs can easily apply by scanning the QR Code provided on the promotional poster.
